Customized Enterprise Training

​​ The Customized Enterprise Training Program builds the capacity of industrial enterprises and design companies through transferring recent technologies that are very crucial for business sustainability and growth.

The Program funds training customized as per the special needs of an enterprise whether delivered locally or overseas. The funding percentage depends on the enterprise size: 70% for micro, 60% for small, 50% for medium, and 40% for large.

The funding percentage increases by 5% if the number of female trainees at minimum is one or 25% of the total number of trainees, whichever is larger, or if the number of trainees with disabilities at minimum is one or 10% of the total number of trainees, whichever is larger.

Payment percentage also increases by 10% when export revenue at minimum is 25% of the total enterprise revenue.

The ultimate objective is to develop local human resources so as to match the local capacities to the electronics industry ever-changing needs.​

Enterprise Criteria:

  • Locally-established enterprise working in the electronics industry.
  • Enterprise registered at the "Egypt Makes Electronics (EME)" Platform.
  • The enterprise capital is foreign and local joint venture, foreign investment, or local private investment.
  • The target training transfers recent, crucial technology to the enterprise.
  • The local manufacturing percentage is minimally 40% for industrial enterprises.
  • The enterprise was not funded for training delivered within six month prior to the target training.​

Funding Mechanism:

  • The funding percentage depends on the enterprise size: 70% for micro, 60% for small, 50% for medium, and 40% for large enterprises.
  • The funding percentage increases by 5% if the number of female trainees at minimum is one or 25% of the total number of trainees, whichever is larger, or if the number of trainees with disabilities at minimum is one or 10% of the total number of trainees, whichever is larger.
  • The funding percentage also increases by 10% when export revenue at minimum is 25% of the total enterprise revenue.
  • Payment is made in one amount after training completion.
  • Payment issued in total for the annual training of the enterprise does not exceed EGP 0.5M for industrial enterprises and EGP 0.75 for design companies.

Submission timeline of Round (1-2016/2017):

  • Program Announcement: 27 November 2016
  • Q&A Sessions: 14 and 26 December 2016
  • Submission Starting Date:  1 March 2017

Submission steps:

  1. Download Program Template
  2. Fill in all needed data and avail all needed documents.
  3. Append filled Template and all needed documents in one zip file.
  4. Login using your enterprise account information (if you do not have an account, Please Register).
  5. Upload the zip file.
  6. Print and keep the successful upload message.
  7. Follow all other instructions given in the Template to deliver hardcopies if required.
